Our adoption fees include spay or neuter, microchip, and vaccines up to and including the rabies vaccine. All of our dogs over the age of 6 months are checked for heartworm disease. If the dog tested negative, we will have started it on heartworm preventative. If the dog tested positive, we will treat it. All of our adoptable cats are screened for FeLV/FIV.
St. Francis CARE will not adopt dogs or cats to homes where they will spend their whole life outside.
